Team of the Week

Dryden Wilderness Rep Soccer

Dryden Youth Soccer also offers the opportunity for those players wishing to play soccer at a higher level.  This involves weekly practices beginning indoors during the spring and then outdoors throughout the remainder of the spring and summer.  Players hone in on their skills, conditioning, coordination and strengthening and learn the importance of team play.  Many of these players participate in camps to improve upon their skills and attend exhibition games as well as tournaments.  Goalie skills are taught at this level.

The availability of teams is dependent upon coaches willing to volunteer their time.

There will not be try-outs for our affiliate teams, however there is an expectation that each player commit to the team and attend all practices, exhibition games and tournaments.

2017 Tournaments

Boston Pizza Player’s Tournament 2017

Two Dryden Wilderness teams participated in the Boston Pizza Player’s Tournament this past weekend. The boy’s U13 team, coached by Kerry Holland and Bruce Cook had their first game cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and had to take a loss to KW 1-0 after one half of play. They won their second game 4-3 to Lindenwoods and lost their third game 6-1 to SWCC. The girl’s U14 team, coached by Andrew Ross won their first game 5-1 to East End Wings and their second game 5-2 to SWCC. They lost their third game 3-0 to Tyndall Park. Unfortunately neither team advanced to the finals, however both teams represented very well and were pleased with their overall results. Congratulations!
